Northern Circuit
Lake Natron
Cinder-red shallows, breeding flamingos, and Ol Doinyo Lengai on the horizon — for travellers who want something rawer than the classic circuit.
Natron is alkaline, wind-scoured, and visually unlike any other stop on the northern circuit. We use it sparingly, with the right vehicle support and realistic pacing.
Expect early starts, minimal infrastructure, and landscapes that feel closer to the Rift's geology than a postcard savanna.
