DAY 01
Momella Gate → Miriakamba Hut
Forest trail past buffalo wallows and black-and-white colobus troops. Gentle grades with big trees and clear streams.

DAY 02
Miriakamba → Saddle Hut
Heather zone opens toward the saddle — first clear views across the Meru caldera toward Little Meru.

DAY 03
Summit ridge → Rhino Point → Socialist Peak → Miriakamba
Midnight start on the crater rim ridge. Narrow exposed sections requiring care — not technical, but serious exposure in places. Sunrise over Kilimanjaro from Socialist Peak before the long descent to Miriakamba.
